Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Software Configuration Management Engineer to join our team in Marlborough, MA. As a key member of our SWCM department, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining integrity for all digital products throughout their entire life cycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform software builds
  • Provide support to the Program and Software Configuration Control Board
  • Maintain and administer Software Digital Library tools
  • FOLLOW RTX Policies and Directives in accordance with established program documentation and work instructions under close direction of SWCM Team Lead and/or Section Leader
  • Design, plan, enforce and coordinate CM and tool processes and procedures
  • Configuration Planning & Identification, Change Management & Version Control
  • Status Accounting & Configuration Audits
  • Manage digital product development/media libraries
  • Document and maintain guidelines and standards for dependency management, build and versioning
  • SWCM Tool administration / manage all access to tool applications (i.e. Microsoft Azure DevOps Server (ADS), Git, BitBucket, JIRA, Confluence)
  • Administer/manage/use DevSecOps tools like Coverity, Artifactory, Jenkins, Nexus, GitLab CI/CD, Bamboo
  • Facilitate the Digital Change Review Boards (DCRBs)
  • Maintain familiarity with program schedule, identifying risks and aligning work to promote reuse and efficiency
  • Coordination of data transfers, courier support among various environments

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Experience with version control and change management/agile planning tools.
  • Software Configuration Management technology, Information Technology (IT), and/or development/scripting experience.
  • Experience with Windows and Unix/Linux Operating Systems.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

We offer a competitive salary range of $77,000 - $163,000 and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
