The CICU at Inova Fairfax Medical Campus is a fast-paced critical care environment that emphasizes teamwork, excellent patient care, and professional growth. Our high-performing nursing team works closely with medical colleagues to provide comprehensive care to patients with complex cardiac conditions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing unstable STEMI patients and post-PCI/PTCA recovery
  • Providing complex cardiac arrest and cardiogenic shock management
  • Assisting with advanced heart failure management, including LVAD therapies and percutaneous VAD devices
  • Managing unstable arrhythmias and providing care for complicated laser-assisted lead removal

We are seeking a nurse with excellent critical thinking skills, a collaborative approach to patient care, and a passion for delivering high-quality care. Requirements include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited school
  • Current RN licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia
  • BLS for Healthcare Provider Certification and ACLS preferred
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to display a caring demeanor
