Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Periodontist to join our dynamic dental team at GPAC. As a Periodontist, you will be responsible for creating dental treatment plans, coordinating oral health care, and providing leadership to clinical support staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create comprehensive dental treatment plans and coordinate oral health care during patient consultations.
- Recommend personalized treatment plans that may include scaling and root planning, gum recession therapy, bone/tissue regeneration, and osseous surgery.
- Specialize in prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of periodontal disease, and in the placement of dental implants.
- Perform dental implant treatments, including preparing bone and gum tissue for implants and treating failing implants.
- Adhere to federal and government regulations, including state dental board rules and regulations.
- Provide leadership and direction to clinical support staff in all areas of patient treatment.
Requirements:
- DDS or DMD degree and specialized training in periodontics.
- Possess a valid state dental license and maintain good standing with the dental board.
- Previous experience is preferred, but we are willing to consider recent or soon-to-be Periodontists coming out of their residencies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven experience in performing periodontal surgeries and related treatments.
- Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
