We are seeking a skilled Pipefitter to join our team at Prism Maritime, LLC. This role involves working on piping systems onboard naval vessels, requiring attention to detail and physical stamina.

As a Pipefitter, you will be responsible for:

Key Responsibilities
  • Laying out, fabricating, assembling, installing, and maintaining piping systems, fixtures, and equipment
  • Working with various materials, including steam, water, air, fuel, lube oil, sea water, and chemicals
  • Ensuring proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies
  • Maintaining cleanliness of the work area

Our ideal candidate will have:

Requirements
  • A High School diploma or equivalent
  • Apprenticeship or trade school experience in welding or a related field
  • Possession of a valid State Driver's License
  • Experience with SMAW and GTAW for tacking purposes of piping, hangers, brackets, and other items to support on-site installations

Physical demands of this role include lifting/moving up to 50 pounds, routinely climbing several flights of stairs, and performing tasks in confined spaces.

Please note that overtime is routinely required but not guaranteed, and travel outside the local area may be necessary.

Salary: $38.75 - $52 per hour (estimated annual salary: $80,000 - $108,000). Benefits include opportunities for professional growth and development within a dynamic company.
