We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Manager to join our team at ABM Industries. As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of our operations, maintaining strong customer relationships, and providing high-quality service to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Relations: Maintain constant communication with site stakeholders, ensuring prompt, responsive, and effective service.
- Liaison and Coordination: Act as the primary liaison for all site-specific client stakeholders, addressing and resolving inter-departmental concerns efficiently.
- Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular monthly KPIs and analysis to clients and the ABM management team, presenting ad-hoc status reports as necessary.
- Data and Narrative: Provide appropriate data and supporting narrative for Client Business Review (CBR) meetings, encompassing all ABM services and sub-contracted work.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that federal, state, and local regulatory requirements are met, including DER, OSHA, EEO, ADA, etc.
- Work Scheduling and Coordination: Schedule and coordinate all work priorities for ABM staff and sub-contractors.
- Service Recommendations: Recommend what work should be performed in-house versus subcontracted, consulting with leadership and/or external technical resources when making decisions on major changes in service offerings.
- Maintenance and Quality Control: Ensure that building reactive and preventive maintenance activities are appropriately balanced, monitoring current and deferred backlogs, and adjusting priorities and/or resources as needed.
- Quality Standards: Review completed work regularly and ensure that quality standards are met or exceeded to the satisfaction of the client.
- Subcontractor Management: Escort and guide subcontractors around client sites as required to complete tasks per SOW.
- Contract Compliance: Monitor service contracts to ensure compliance, addressing and resolving any contract disputes with the aid of leadership.
- Education: Degree in Business Administration or similar field experience preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience: 3-5 years' experience in building and janitorial management.
- Leadership Style: Collaborative leadership style that emphasizes openness and fairness.
- Skills and Abilities: Desire and ability to advance the company's mission in delivering best-in-class services that deliver measurable results to our clients.
- Work Environment: General office environment, shop environment, and some exterior/outside environment.
