Role Overview
As a Massage Therapist, you will play a vital role in enhancing the well-being of our clients through therapeutic techniques. Your responsibilities will include:
- Documentation: Maintain accurate client records and complete necessary departmental paperwork promptly.
- Sanitation: Ensure cleanliness and organization of your workspace, including disinfection after each treatment.
- Soft Tissue Evaluation: Assess the condition of patients' soft tissues, joint function, muscle strength, and range of motion to formulate effective treatment plans.
- Patient Interaction: Engage with patients to discuss their medical histories, address concerns, and provide information regarding their treatment.
- Therapeutic Techniques: Administer various modalities of therapeutic massage to treat medical conditions and injuries effectively.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- A minimum of one year of massage therapy experience is necessary.
- Massage Therapy License/Certification from an accredited institution (AMTA, OBTA, ABMP).
- Certifications in First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) are required.
Travel Requirements: Minimal travel is expected for this position.
