We are seeking a compassionate Caregiver/Medication Technician to join our team at Glen Park Senior Living in Monrovia, CA.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires providing essential medication management and daily living assistance to our residents. As a member of our care team, you will work closely with our medical professionals to ensure the comfort, safety, and well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Medication Administration: Administer medications to residents in compliance with Title 22 regulations and physician instructions. Monitor residents' medication records and report any errors to the Lead Medication Technician/Administrator.
  • Basic Care Assistance: Provide assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and toileting.
  • Order and Reorder Medications: Ensure residents have timely access to medications by placing and tracking medication orders.
  • Documentation & Communication: Maintain accurate, progressive documentation and regularly communicate with physicians and medical professionals.
  • Resident Scheduling: Schedule and coordinate doctor's appointments for residents as needed.
  • Engagement and Support: Work with medical professionals to promote resident engagement, reduce pain, and maintain independence.
  • Maintain a Safe Environment: Ensure a clean and safe environment for both residents and staff.
  • Emergency Response: Stay composed and take appropriate action during emergencies.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Align performance with the facility's Program Design.
  • Complete specialized training for working with residents with developmental disabilities.
  • Achieve goals outlined in each resident's Individual Program Plan (IPP).
  • Maintain detailed progress notes to track accomplishments of IPP objectives.
