Responsibilities

As a LPN, you'll visit patients in their homes and provide nursing care under the direction of RNs and in compliance with physicians' orders. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing high-quality patient care in a home setting
  • Collaborating with RNs and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Administering medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
  • Monitoring patient progress and reporting any changes or concerns to RNs and physicians
  • Documenting patient information and care provided in electronic medical records
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A valid state driver's license
  • A reliable vehicle and automobile liability insurance
  • The ability to drive in all types of weather conditions
  • Dependable transportation and a clean driving record
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of employment
