Overview of the Role

The Mixology Specialist represents the pinnacle of customer service. There is no request too challenging, and no demeanor that cannot be transformed. You have a passion for culinary delights, exploring new flavors, and guiding our patrons through an exciting menu. Your primary responsibility is to deliver exceptional service to guests above all else.

Your role includes ensuring that our high standards are consistently met and imparting that knowledge to new team members. Every action we take from the moment we enter our establishment is centered around our guests.

Key Responsibilities

The essential responsibilities for this position encompass:

• Supporting fellow bartenders in overseeing and coordinating daily operations of the bar during each shift, ensuring all front-of-house standard operating procedures (including health and safety protocols) are meticulously followed.
• Exhibiting the ability to inspire and engage others while ensuring systems are effectively utilized during training.
• Interacting with team members at all levels in a dynamic environment, sometimes under pressure, while remaining adaptable, proactive, resourceful, and efficient, all while maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.

Ensuring impeccable service is provided to all guests at all times, fulfilling their needs and expectations to the highest standards, down to the smallest details.

Warmly greet guests and provide a pleasant and comfortable experience.

Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of bar inventory and mixed drink recipes.

Possess a comprehensive understanding of wines, cocktails, and beers.

Communicate effectively with the restaurant manager, servers, and host/hostess as necessary to ensure a seamless guest experience.

Engage guests with a friendly greeting and take drink orders in accordance with Windmills Craftworks' service standards.

Must hold TABC certification or meet similar state requirements.

Inspect food before serving to guests to ensure that appearance, temperature, and portions are correct.

Adhere to Windmills Craftworks' beverage standards and procedures, utilizing the training manual provided.

Execute all duties safely and monitor the actions of others.
