HVAC Service/Maintenance Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented HVAC technician to join our team at Phoenix Home Services LLC. As an HVAC technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing HVAC systems, ensuring they operate efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.
  • Identify maintenance risks on equipment.
  • Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.
  • Clean, adjust, and repair systems, and perform warranty services.
  • Perform emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
  • Keep daily logs and records of all maintenance functions.
  • Comply with our company standards, service standards, work instructions, and customers' requirements.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience as an HVAC technician, with a willingness to continue education in the HVAC field.
  • Working knowledge of boiler systems is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Good written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work with others and be a team player.
  • Proficient in reading schematics and work plans.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics).
  • Have own hand tools.
  • $37.00/hour + for qualified, ideal candidate.
