Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Architect, Senior Manager to lead the design of cloud-based data architecture solutions for our federal government clients. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for applying your creative thinking and analytical mindset to help organizations manage their data assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design of cloud-based data architecture solutions for federal government clients
  • Collaborate with business analysts and technology teams to resolve routine data architecture-related issues
  • Partner with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand their data requirements
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless deployment and maintenance of data solutions
  • Guide the use of data integration tools and platforms, including AWS and Spark
  • Lead a team in designing, defining, developing, and testing cloud solution components

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in data architecture, including working with AWS tech stack and Databricks, Spark, Pyramid Analytics, and SAS
  • Experience with applying Agile Methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe
  • Ability to provide thought leadership to clients across business and technical project dimensions
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in cloud-based data platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Experience with feature delivery and understanding the tradeoffs of a solution or product
  • Knowledge of data modeling, data pipeline processes, and data warehousing
  • Knowledge of relevant data technologies and tools, including open source
  • Knowledge of data governance and data security best practices
  • Ability to demonstrate accountability for ensuring the business and technical architecture of the delivered solution matches client technical and functional requirements
  • Possession of excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Master's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
  • Databricks, SAS, or related technologies certifications

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.

The projected compensation range for this position is $122,200.00 to $227, annualized USD. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
