We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Faculty - Mathematics Instructor to join our team at InsideHigherEd. As a Mathematics Adjunct Professor, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality education to our students.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate and up-to-date student and course records, utilizing our learning management system.
- Develop and maintain current course outlines, objectives, and grading procedures for all courses.
- Employ innovative and adaptive instructional methods to engage students and promote academic success.
- Complete all mandatory training and adhere to the Adjunct Handbook requirements.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
- Associate or Bachelor's Degree and licensure/certification in the discipline required (technical programs/non-transfer classes).
- Master's Degree in the discipline or related area, or Master's Degree with 18 hours in the discipline required (transfer classes).
- Minimum three years of teaching and classroom management experience.
- Must have educational qualifications to teach in the subject area or have documented specialty education/experience to meet tested experience requirements.
- Ph.D. in a related field.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends, in a busy and noisy environment.
- Work will be performed in an office and classroom environment with a significant amount of public contact.
- Duties require extended periods of sitting, talking, and listening.
- Duties require extensive use of computers and other office equipment.
- Requires possible lifting of up to 25 lbs.
