The primary responsibility of this role is to provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families, ensuring a seamless registration experience. This involves greeting patients, logging them into tracking software, and gathering necessary information for accurate registration and billing. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to effectively interact with patients, staff, and external partners.
Responsibilities include:
- Gathering patient demographic and financial information
- Completing registration and pre-admission tasks
- Assisting with patient transportation and room assignment/transfer
- Providing financial guidance and explanations of insurance benefits and self-pay billing
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- At least 6 months of customer service experience preferred
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in PC and Windows environment required
