Job Summary

Volt is seeking a skilled Production Operator to join our team at Medway, MA. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating equipment to manufacture products from raw materials into finished goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate equipment to manufacture products from raw materials into finished goods.
  • Maintain inventory records of raw materials used in manufacturing and keep accurate and up-to-date records and/or data sheets on materials in process.
  • Perform in-process tests to ensure production meets required specifications.
  • Recognize equipment malfunctions and/or product deficiencies and troubleshoot errors to achieve continuing optimum production levels.
  • Follow blueprints, subassembly layouts, and schematics.
  • Maintain running accounts of orders received, work completed, and inventory.
  • Match workload, manning, and equipment capacity to existing inventory.
  • Prepare and monitor master schedules by working with materials planning, production, and maintenance personnel to coordinate activities.
  • Requisition materials after determining delivery dates.
Requirements
  • Experience in measurement, hand tools, micrometres, and verniers.
  • High school Diploma/GED is desired.
