Job Overview

MRINetwork Jobs is seeking a seasoned Construction Materials Testing Manager to join our client's team in southcentral West Virginia. Our client is a full-service engineering firm with diverse experience in architectural, civil, and environmental projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of construction or inspection staff and/or manage a materials testing laboratory.
  • Oversee the implementation of quality control measures to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders to promote business growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in materials testing.
  • Travel occasionally to client sites and industry events.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Geology preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in construction or materials testing.
  • Proven track record of managing staff and/or laboratory operations.
  • NCDOT Certifications and/or other specialty testing certifications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
