Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Warehouse Driver/Shipping & Receiving professional to join our team at Orca Bay Foods. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate movement of products and materials within our warehouse and shipping operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate a truck to transport products and materials to and from our dry warehouse, and return all RTS boards.

Load, secure, and unload products and materials from the truck.

May pick up and deliver small local loads upon warehouse manager request.

Turn in receiving paperwork daily (bill of lading, manifest, etc.).

Perform other duties as assigned.

Shipping and Receiving Duties:

Read work orders to determine products to be moved, gathered, distributed, or shipped.

Operate a forklift or pallet jack to move products or shipments from the shipping and receiving elevator to storage or work area.

Assist with receiving deliveries.

Accurately document the movement of products to and from the production floor.

Monitor and complete paperwork for accuracy, checking case counts, lot numbers, and work order numbers.

Check labels, date codes, product codes, and box weights on all incoming and outgoing products to ensure accuracy.

Record lot #'s, board #'s, and number of cases on board of incoming and outgoing products.

Affix labels to outgoing pallets of products identifying product information, including product codes, lot #'s, etc.

Record items in save area for incoming and outgoing products.

Record all partial boards of incoming and outgoing products.

Ensure production lines have necessary products and respond to requests promptly.

Fulfill work orders or requests for products and distribute items to correct lines.

Sign for shipments delivered on the dock.

Check receiving paperwork to ensure description and quantities match what is being delivered.

Distribute received items to the appropriate departments upon receipt.

Turn in all receiving paperwork daily (bill of lading, manifest, etc.).
