We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Uniontown Hospital. As a Registered Nurse on our 3 West unit, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, taking into account the patient's unique needs and preferences.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Document patient information accurately and thoroughly, using electronic medical records and other tools as needed.
- Current unencumbered licensure with the PA Board of Registered Professional Nurses or equivalent.
- Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire.
- One year of experience in an inpatient hospital setting, preferably on a medical-surgical unit.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to lift 40+ pounds, with frequent standing, walking, and bending.
