Job Title: Behavioral Coach

At Pinehurst Surgical Clinic PA, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Behavioral Coach to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing behavioral health evaluations and coaching to patients undergoing bariatric surgery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough behavioral health evaluations to assess patients' suitability for bariatric surgery
  • Develop and implement personalized behavioral coaching plans to promote safe and favorable outcomes
  • Collaborate with patients to set and achieve behavioral/lifestyle goals
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to patients throughout their weight loss journey
  • Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in a related field (e.g., social work, psychology, counseling)
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or equivalent
  • Experience working with patients with obesity and related health conditions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications
  • Knowledge of health behavior change theories and models
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
