Maintenance Mechanic Job Description

Maintenance mechanics play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance of equipment and machines in various industries. At Mountaire, we are seeking a skilled maintenance mechanic to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspections, repairs, and adjustments to equipment and machines.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with equipment and machines to minimize downtime and optimize performance.
  • Set up and tear down equipment as needed, ensuring safe and efficient operation.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless production and maintenance processes.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to continuously improve maintenance procedures.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school or vocational training preferred.
  • Minimum 10-15 years of experience in industrial manufacturing or skilled trades.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical, millwright, hydraulic, pneumatic, and welding principles.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
