Focus Staff is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a contract assignment in a hospital setting.

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our team to achieve excellent patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients and develop treatment plans to meet their respiratory care needs.
  • Provide respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions.
  • Insert and remove endotracheal tubes as needed.
  • Document patient care and treatment plans accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
  • Teach and counsel patients and their families on respiratory care and disease management.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
  • Current CPR or BCLS certification.
  • BCLS, ACLS, PALS, NALS, or NRP certification preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
