Admissions Counselor

Newman University is seeking a highly motivated and organized Admissions Counselor to join our team. As a key member of our admissions department, you will be responsible for recruiting and enrolling students from assigned territories, developing relationships with high schools, colleges, and community partners, and maintaining relationships with prospective students through constant communication.
Key Responsibilities- Recruit students from assigned territories and develop new recruitment areas.
- Develop relationships with high schools, colleges, and community partners.
- Maintain relationships with prospective students through constant communication.
- Meet with students and parents throughout the recruitment process, from inquiry to enrollment.
- Participate in all on-campus and off-campus recruiting efforts.
- Remain current on all relative information pertaining to the University.
- Assist in developing goals and strategies to support recruitment efforts.
- Assist in the marketing of the University through collaborative efforts with the Admissions team.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Requires up to 50% travel time.
- Ability to speak publicly in front of others.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and be insurable under the University's policy at all times.
- Fluency in Spanish is strongly preferred.
- Fluent in social media platforms.
