We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Albany Family Medicine.

Job Summary:

This full-time LPN position involves administering vaccines, documenting patient conversations, maintaining accurate patient records, and ensuring timely patient flow.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer vaccines and record relevant information.
  • Document verbal conversations with patients when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Evaluate and manage patient flow effectively.
  • Prepare patients for visits as required by the office or provider.
  • Obtain specimens from patients as directed by the provider.
  • Enter orders accurately and on time into the lab system.
  • Perform clinical office procedures as directed by the provider.
  • Process patient prescriptions.
  • Discuss test results with patients according to provider instructions.

Requirements:

  • A valid NYS LPN license is essential.
  • Previous experience in a medical practice or as a Medical Assistant/Patient Care Tech is desirable.
  • Strong computer skills with EMR experience are required.
  • Familiarity with basic nursing principles and protocols is necessary.
  • Knowledge of infection control, environmental safety, and patient confidentiality policies is essential.
  • The ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion is crucial.
  • Familiarity with medical chart reporting/records is necessary.
  • Skills in assessment and assistance techniques are required.

Compensation and Benefits:

This role comes with an estimated annual salary range of $21.75 - $31.00. In addition, CCP offers a comprehensive total rewards package including medical, dental, vision, and life insurances, paid holidays, paid time off, retirement plan, and much more in a business casual environment.
