The HVAC Maintenance Specialist role involves ensuring that all air conditioning systems are operating efficiently at CLC Resort Management LLC. This includes conducting regular maintenance checks and addressing any issues that may arise in guest accommodations or communal areas.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct inspections and execute repairs or replacements on HVAC equipment.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
- Respond promptly to urgent maintenance requests.
- Follow all safety regulations and procedures diligently.
- Diagnose issues related to heating, cooling, and zoning in residential systems.
- Replace malfunctioning compressors and evaporator coils as needed.
- Understand and apply principles of subcooling and superheating.
- Replace condensers and air handlers effectively.
- Utilize brazing techniques with a nitrogen shield.
- Assess and repair ductwork while addressing airflow challenges.
- Maintain detailed maintenance records and documentation.
- Communicate warranty concerns to clients effectively.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in HVAC.
- NATE certification or completion of an HVAC trade program preferred.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Possession of personal tools, including hand tools, meters, torches, gauges, and pumps.
- Attention to detail and a strong understanding of documentation processes.
- Knowledge of Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) equipment and ability to provide recommendations.
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards.
