Radiology Technologist Level I Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist Level I to join our team at Kaiser Permanente. As a Radiology Technologist Level I, you will be responsible for performing a variety of standard radiographic procedures in a safe and efficient manner, reviewing and transmitting films and reports to appropriate physicians, and performing reception and clerical duties within the Radiology Department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for radiographic procedures by accurately assessing their needs and providing patient education.
  • Perform radiographic and/or fluoroscopic procedures.
  • Practice accurate and timely completion of scheduled and unscheduled work to maximize productivity.
  • Operate computer and radiographic equipment for image production and documentation of images.
  • Perform quality control measures for the purpose of ensuring optimal quality images.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited radiography program.
  • Basic Life Support certification.
  • Radiologic Technologist Certification.
  • General knowledge of EH&S, OSHA, DHR, Radiation Safety and Protection.
  • General knowledge of exam protocols.
  • Basic PC skills.
