Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team at M-L Holdings Company. As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment, ensuring that our fleet is in top working condition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with heavy equipment, including hydraulic and electrical systems.
  • Utilize technical manuals and diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
  • Work closely with the service writer to ensure accurate documentation and paperwork.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and techniques.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; trade school or technical degree preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Heavy Equipment Technician or Mechanic.
  • Experience in crushing, screening, composting, and yellow iron industries a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft products, smartphones, and iPads.
  • Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and work in various climates and conditions.
  • Valid driver's license and clean MVR required.
