About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team in Denver. As an Estimator, you will play a critical role in helping us expand our book of business by preparing and coordinating project estimates and bids.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and coordinate project estimates and bids, including reviewing project plans and specifications.
  • Utilize estimating software to calculate costs and prepare detailed estimates.
  • Evaluate and analyze subcontractor bids for completeness and accuracy.
  • Manage the bid process from receiving initial project documents to final bid submission.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and clients to understand project requirements and objectives.
  • Identify potential cost-saving opportunities and propose budget-friendly solutions.
  • Keep detailed records of all estimation documentation, including site assessments and contract terms.
  • Maintain knowledge of current industry trends and local construction costs.
  • Participate in project meetings and provide updates on cost-related issues.
Requirements
  • Minimum of three years of estimating experience in construction general contracting.
  • Proven experience in multifamily projects is a must.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and legal requirements.
  • Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
