Forklift Operator Job

Estimated salary range: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour.

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team at 48forty Solutions and Relogistics Services. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating a forklift to move pallets and materials throughout the warehouse, ensuring efficient production requirements.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to company safety procedures at all times.
  • Operate a forklift to transport pallets and materials within the warehouse.
  • Sort pallets by hand, prioritizing efficiency and accuracy.
  • Unload and stack material using a lifting device.
  • Perform repairs on wooden pallets using a nail gun when required.

Requirements:

  • Forklift certification is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Able to work in extreme conditions, including elements, heat, cold, and air particulate.
  • Must have good balance, eye-hand-foot coordination, and close vision.
  • Ability to lift pallets weighing between 50 lbs. to 75 lbs. by hand.
