We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Home Health Aide to join our dynamic care team providing clinical expertise in-home.
Responsibilities:
- Perform personal care activities that assist patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, ambulation/transfers, eating, dressing/shaving, and preparing meals and snacks.
- Accompany patients on errands or medical appointments and perform housekeeping activities, such as vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, and doing laundry.
- Perform patient-specific activities, such as medication reminders, assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises, measuring and preparing special diets, and understanding dementia care.
Qualifications:
- High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred.
- Three years of experience as a Caregiver/Home Health Aide in healthcare (in homes or facilities).
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job.
- Valid driver's license and insured automobile a plus.
