Position Overview:

In the role of a Rehabilitation Therapist, you will provide a comprehensive range of services aimed at assisting patients with neuromuscular, orthopedic, and other mobility-related challenges. Your responsibilities will include mobility training, strength conditioning, therapeutic modalities, specialized manual therapy, and neuromuscular reeducation. You will leverage the rehabilitation process to foster and restore optimal health and well-being for your patients, while embodying our organizational mission and core values.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, candidates should possess the following:

  • Experience in delivering direct patient care in outpatient, inpatient, or rehabilitation settings is preferred.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) is advantageous.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy is required.
  • A Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy is preferred.
  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in Colorado is mandatory.
  • BLS certification through the American Heart Association is required.
  • Dry Needling Certification or Education is preferred, if applicable.

Physical Requirements: Ability to exert up to 50 lbs of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs constantly.

Work Schedule: This full-time role will primarily address our inpatient needs. We seek a therapist with acute care experience to work Monday through Friday, with a modified schedule during the second week of the pay cycle, including one mid-week day off. Shifts are 8 hours in duration.

The Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility at St. Anthony Hospital is a dedicated 17-bed unit focused on delivering intensive rehabilitation services to help patients regain independence and functionality at home and in their communities. Our services include Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Language Pathology, and Case Management, complemented by consultations from specialists in wound care, nutrition, patient education, and integrative healing.

Our medical team, comprising Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, and Physician Assistants, engages with patients daily to ensure they meet their rehabilitation and medical objectives for discharge. All patients must undergo a qualification process for program acceptance, ensuring focused care tailored to their rehabilitation needs.
