Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nutrition management services, including patient screening, nutrition assessment, and nutrition care-planning.

• Collaborate with medical and nursing staff to coordinate patient nutritional care and participate in medical rounds/conferences.

• Develop and implement diet therapy and nutrition support modalities, monitoring patient progress and making follow-up recommendations.

• Counsel patients/families on appropriate diet and/or nutrition practices relevant to their medical conditions.

• Document patient care activities in the medical records and communicate patient care information to ensure continuity of care.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in dietetics, nutrition with completion of an internship required.

• 7 months to 1 year of previous experience providing nutrition therapy in a clinical setting, preferably in acute care.

• Dietitian DC DOH – DIETDC within 90 days required.

• Must be Dietitian Registration eligible by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, and examination must be taken within 1 month from start date.

This position offers a competitive salary range of $60,632 - $107,494 and the opportunity to work with a leading healthcare system in the Baltimore-Washington metro region.
