Role Designation: Program Administration Specialist I
Salary Range: $45,000-$53,419
Pay Grade: 4

Job Overview:
As a Nutritionist, you will deliver nutrition services to clients across various environments within the district.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments and evaluations in clinical, educational, and community settings.
- Develop and oversee nutritional care plans and food packages tailored to client needs.
- Certify clients for participation in public health programs.
- Schedule, provide, and document both basic and advanced nutrition education for high-risk individuals.
- Facilitate referrals to programs such as Medicaid, AFDC, and SNAP benefits.
- Perform additional administrative tasks as required.
Essential Qualifications:
- In-depth knowledge of nutrition principles and practices, particularly in relation to public health standards.
- Ability to conduct nutritional assessments for diverse age groups, including women, infants, and children; skilled in data interpretation to evaluate the population served and the effectiveness of nutrition interventions.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and planning skills; capable of engaging effectively with clients and colleagues in both individual and group settings.
- Ability to address public inquiries regarding nutrition programs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Registered Dietitian credential preferred.
- Experience in public health and familiarity with the WIC program is advantageous.
