Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Environmental Microbiologist to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. As a Laboratory Analyst, you will perform analysis of non-culturable surface and air samples for fungi. You will prepare and analyze environmental samples according to scientific methodology in compliance with company Quality Assurance programs and SOP's.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze aerobiological, environmental, and water samples for fungal analysis
- Accurately enter and report analytical data using the LIMS
- Perform independent data reviews for other analysts' work
- Assist in maintaining quality control and ensuring accuracy in analytical results
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- 1-2 years of laboratory work experience involving mold and/or asbestos microscopy analysis (PREFERRED)
- Bachelor's degree in microbiology, biology or a closely related science. (REQUIRED)
- 8 units of Microbiology courses (PREFERRED)
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
