Job Overview

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to their work, possess keen attention to detail, and have foundational maintenance skills to maintain our properties in excellent condition.


Key Responsibilities
Grounds Maintenance:
  • Oversee the cleanliness and visual appeal of the property grounds, which includes mowing lawns, trimming shrubs, removing weeds, raking leaves, and ensuring pathways are unobstructed.
  • Collect litter and debris from communal areas, parking lots, and other outdoor spaces.
  • Execute seasonal duties such as snow removal, leaf collection, and applying salt or sand on icy surfaces.
  • Maintain and service landscaping tools, ensuring all equipment is operational.

Unit Preparation:
  • Ready vacant units for new occupants by performing various tasks such as painting, replacing fixtures, and installing new hardware.
  • Conduct thorough cleaning of units, including kitchens, bathrooms, floors, and windows, ensuring they are move-in ready.
  • Address punch list items to resolve all maintenance concerns prior to unit occupancy.
  • Assist with the relocation and assembly of furniture or appliances as required.

Maintenance Assistance:
  • Carry out basic maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, clearing clogged drains, fixing minor leaks, and replacing air filters.
  • Support the maintenance team with larger repair initiatives as necessary.
  • Identify and report any significant maintenance or safety concerns to the property management team.

Inspections and Documentation:
  • Perform regular inspections of the grounds and units, documenting any issues or required repairs.
  • Collaborate with the property management team to schedule and prioritize tasks effectively.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Previous experience in grounds maintenance, property upkeep, or a related field is preferred.
- Basic understanding of landscaping, general repairs, and maintenance tasks.
