Job DescriptionWe are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Full-Time Psychotherapist to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will provide individual, group, and family therapy, utilizing evidence-based practices to help clients achieve their mental health goals. This role offers the opportunity to work within a supportive team environment while maintaining a balance of in-person and virtual sessions.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation of client interactions and treatment plans in our EHR system.
- Utilize DSM-5 for accurate diagnosis and create treatment plans incorporating ICD-10 and CPT codes.
- Manage and navigate commercial insurance processes, including authorizations and billing.
- Participate in weekly individual and group supervision sessions.
- Collaborate with other mental health professionals and community resources to ensure comprehensive care.
- Engage in continuous professional development and training opportunities.
- Adhere to ethical guidelines and professional standards.
- Master's Degree in Social Work (LMSW/LCSW) or Mental Health Counseling (MHC-LP/LMHC) from an accredited institution.
- Current New York State licensure or eligibility for licensure.
- Experience with commercial insurance processes and documentation.
- Proficiency in clinical documentation, including biopsychosocial assessments, treatment plans, and familiarity with ICD-10, CPT codes, and DSM-5 diagnosis.
- Strong commitment to providing culturally competent and inclusive care.
- Experience working with the LGBTQ community is highly preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficiency in using EHR systems and telehealth platforms.
