Position Title: Helper
Position Overview:
- Identify and gather all necessary tools for assigned tasks.
- Operate machinery as per qualifications.
- Assist in loading, unloading, and organizing materials.
- Recognize safety hazards and implement necessary precautions to mitigate risks.
- Support skilled workers in daily operations and work orders.
- Contribute to various construction-related tasks as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.
Required Experience:
- A minimum of six months experience as an industrial helper in a construction setting. Preference for candidates with two or more years of experience in the pulp and paper sector.
Essential Qualifications:
- Knowledge of materials, tools, and processes related to basic construction techniques.
- Reliable transportation is essential.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to all safety regulations and protocols.
Physical and Job Site Requirements:
- Ability to complete hiring documentation electronically.
- Completion of required online training.
- Capability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Physical strength and stamina to perform essential job functions.
- Ability to navigate confined spaces and uneven terrain.
- Full range of motion consistent with age.
- Ability to climb and maintain balance on ladders.
- Ability to hear and respond to verbal commands and alarms.
- Visual acuity and depth perception necessary for working at heights and on uneven surfaces.
- Safety footwear is mandatory.
