We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at the Minnesota Veterans Home in Minneapolis. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care to our residents.

About the Role:
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and assisting with activities of daily living.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and document findings in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and industry developments.
Requirements:
  • Licensed in Minnesota as a Practical Nurse with no restrictions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, follow instructions, and take clear notes.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or ability to obtain certification within the probationary period.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in a long-term care environment.
  • Experience working with Veterans.
