About the Router Role
The Router is a critical member of our team, responsible for establishing efficient routes, maintaining driver routes, and consulting with school officials regarding bus routes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain efficient routes to ensure timely and safe transportation
- Collaborate with drivers and school officials to ensure accurate route information
- Utilize software programs to optimize routes and reduce transportation costs
- Verify accuracy of driver's route times and stop times
- Assist in maintaining a safe and positive work environment
- Meet with school officials as needed to keep routes current and accurate
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- CDL Operator's License
- Knowledge of location and surrounding area
- Able to work in a team environment
- Good organizational and customer service skills
- Computer literate
