Senior Auditor

Responsibilities:
1. Lead and execute financial and operational audits, ensuring compliance with GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley Act, and other applicable regulations.
2. Evaluate and improve the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management, and governance processes.
3. Prepare and present detailed audit reports, highlighting areas for improvement and recommending action plans.
4. Work closely with various departments to understand business processes, identify potential risks, and provide solutions to mitigate those risks.
5. Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial statements, ensuring their accuracy and completeness.
6. Stay abreast of industry trends and changes in regulations, implementing necessary changes to maintain compliance.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you will need the following qualifications: 1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in financial auditing, preferably within the finance industry.
2. Proven knowledge and understanding of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, GAAP Standards, and other relevant financial regulations.
3. Strong experience in preparing and analyzing financial statements and budgets.
4. Exceptional skills in evaluating and improving internal controls and risk management processes.
5. A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A master's degree or CPA certification is preferred.
6. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
8. High level of integrity, with a commitment to upholding professional ethics.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
10. Strong computer skills, with proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
