Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join our team at Plants and Goodwin, Inc. in Bradford, PA. As an Accounting Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting the Director of Accounting and Finance by performing various accounting and administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process accounts receivable and accounts payable tasks, including maintaining customer records in QuickBooks Online.
  • Process payments and reconcile vendor statements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Oversee credit card purchases and reconcile credit card statements.
  • Obtain and maintain W-9s and Certificates of Insurance for vendors.
  • Process 1099s annually and manage credit applications.
  • Maintain a paperless office environment and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Process A/R statements monthly and perform other administrative tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Ramp software.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to learn multiple software applications.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred.
