Job Summary

The Department of Electrical, Computer & Energy Engineering at the University of Colorado Boulder is seeking an Assistant Teaching Professor to join our team. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for teaching five courses each academic year, as well as performing service to the department on committees and other activities such as student outreach and recruiting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach five courses each academic year, covering topics in Computer Engineering, Embedded Systems, and VLSI.
  • Perform service to the department on committees and other activities, such as student outreach and recruiting.
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary range of $85,000 - $100,000 academic year salary, with the possibility of consideration for Associate Teaching Professor or Teaching Professor rank.
  • A relocation stipend is available within CEAS guidelines.
  • A comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, retirement, paid time off, tuition benefit, and ECO Pass.
Requirements
  • A doctorate degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science at the start of employment.
  • Or a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science or a related field and 5 years of teaching at a higher education level or working in a related field in industry.
