CHRISTUS Spohn Hospital Corpus Christi-South is strategically located to provide comprehensive surgical and medical services to the community. With a capacity of 158 licensed beds, the facility caters to a diverse range of medical needs, including pediatrics, obstetrics, skilled nursing, emergency services, and intensive care. The hospital is equipped with advanced diagnostic and imaging technologies and features a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, allowing mothers to stay close to their newborns requiring specialized care.
Qualifications:
- Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program with the ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
- Preferred one year of nursing experience; however, new graduates are welcome to apply.
- Current Texas State RN License is required.
- Certification in CPR from the American Heart Association is mandatory.
- ACLS certification must be obtained within six months of hire or transfer.
- PALS certification is required within 18 months of hire or transfer for both Alice and Surgical departments.
