Job Title: Director of Mental Health Program

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Director of Mental Health Program to lead our team of healthcare professionals in providing exceptional care to seniors experiencing depression and anxiety related to life changes.

Job Summary:

The Director of Mental Health Program will be responsible for leading a small disciplinary team, engaging with the local community, developing referrals, growing and maintaining patient census, and ensuring compliance with professional and ethical guidelines.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of healthcare professionals in providing mental health services to seniors.
  • Develop and implement community outreach programs to engage with local healthcare providers and community resources.
  • Collaborate with hospital staff and providers to develop referrals and grow patient census.
  • Ensure compliance with professional and ethical guidelines in providing mental health services.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Senior Life Solutions is an intensive outpatient therapy program designed to meet the unique needs of individuals 65 and older experiencing depression and/or anxiety related to life changes.

Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse or LVN licensed in the state of practice required.
  • Graduation from a state-approved school of nursing required.
  • Psychiatric nursing experience preferred.
  • Ability to work with kindness and accountability to enhance the quality of life for patients required.
