Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning, development, monitoring, and execution of procurement and contractual actions along with related documentation.
  • Collaborate with team leaders on strategic planning and implementation for acquisition processes.
  • Prepare procurement request packages and contracting documentation, ensuring thoroughness and tracking of processes.
  • Draft acquisition documentation and maintain effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Oversee contract status, analyze financial data, and support program management with tracking tools and reports.
  • Occasional travel may be required for business purposes.

Qualifications

  • Education: A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution; relevant experience may substitute for educational requirements.
  • Experience: A minimum of five years in Department of Defense acquisition processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe software.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Navy contracts and financial procedures.
  • Experience in dynamic and secure environments with the capability to respond promptly to tasks.
  • Clearance Requirement: Must possess a current DoD Top Secret clearance and be eligible for access to Sensitive Compartment Information (SCI) and Special Access Program (SAP).
