About the Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced NP - Rural Primary Care Specialist to join our team at PeaceHealth in Craig, Alaska. As a key member of our primary care team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the growth and development of our clinic.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide primary care services to patients in a rural setting, including routine check-ups, health screenings, and treatment of acute and chronic conditions.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and best practices to provide evidence-based care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
- BC Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioner with at least 5 years of post-training experience in rural and/or wilderness medicine.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve shared goals.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and circumstances.
- Interest and experience in OB a bonus.
What We Offer
- Guaranteed first-year income, based on years of direct experience (0-3, 3-5, 5-9, 10+): $164, $208,416.00.
- Employment Bonus.
- Relocation stipend based on miles between locations.
- Education Loan Reimbursement program (if applicable and eligible).
- CME: up to $3,300 per calendar year for CME and/or professional dues/fees (based on 1.0 FTE; prorated for lower FTE).
