Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Building Automation / Controls Technician to join our dynamic team. This position involves the installation, programming, and servicing of digital control systems while ensuring quality, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install comprehensive building automation systems (BAS).
  • Conduct startup, testing, commissioning, and servicing of control projects.
  • Provide training to clients on control systems as needed.
  • Modify existing programs and troubleshoot to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Verify proper system and control sequence operations.
  • Review, adjust, and implement programming changes to the building automation system to guarantee efficient operations and compliance with standards.
  • Calibrate, repair, and replace sensing devices in the building automation system as per specifications.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in building automation (BAS/BMS) or HVAC controls.
  • Willingness to work in the field at client locations approximately 80% of the time.
  • Familiarity with one or more of the following BAS systems: Schneider Electric, Siemens, JCI, ALC, Trane, Delta Controls, Distech, Honeywell, or similar.

Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with Tridium Niagara.
  • Knowledge of Alerton, Honeywell, or Distech systems.
