About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Staff Registered Nurse to join our team at Houston Methodist Specialty Physician Group. As a key member of our surgical team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with the interprofessional healthcare team to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and managing emergencies.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of evidence-based practice guidelines.
  • Utilize clinical judgment and critical thinking skills to make informed decisions and prioritize patient care.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
  • One year of nursing experience in a healthcare environment.
  • RN - Registered Nurse - Texas State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure within 60 days.
  • BLS - Basic Life Support (AHA).
