Senior Manager, Software Engineer, SRE/DevOps

Transformative Opportunity
Capital One is seeking a seasoned Senior Manager, Software Engineer, SRE/DevOps to join our Enterprise Platforms Technology team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of developers with deep experience in machine learning, distributed microservices, and full stack systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of developers in designing, implementing, and delivering robust cloud-based solutions that drive powerful experiences to help millions of Americans achieve financial empowerment.
- Collaborate with digital product managers to deliver solutions that meet customer needs and drive business growth.
- Utilize programming languages like Java, Python, SQL, Ruby, and Go, as well as Container Orchestration services including Docker and Kubernetes, CM tools including Ansible and Terraform, and a variety of AWS tools and services.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of cloud native technologies, including Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- At least 6 years of experience in DevOps Engineering, with a strong background in cloud native technologies.
- Proven track record of leading high-performing teams and delivering complex technology projects.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
