Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at Walled Lake Consolidated Schools. As a key member of our student support services team, you will work closely with students, teachers, and parents to provide individualized support and accommodations to ensure academic success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized speech and language plans to meet the unique needs of students
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to provide comprehensive support services
  • Assess and evaluate student communication skills to identify areas of strength and weakness
  • Provide training and support to teachers and staff on communication strategies and accommodations
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in speech-language pathology, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and parents. A master's degree in speech-language pathology or a related field is required, as well as certification as a speech-language pathologist.
