Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Epic Travel Staffing Allied is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join their team in Tucson, Arizona.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to work in our state-of-the-art facility. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks, including preparing patients for imaging procedures, operating imaging equipment, and analyzing images to diagnose medical conditions.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including administering medications and positioning patients for optimal image quality.
  • Operate imaging equipment, such as SPECT and PET scanners, to capture high-quality images of patients.
  • Analyze images to diagnose medical conditions, such as cancer, cardiovascular disease, and neurological disorders.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures and imaging results.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
  • Siemens experience preferred.
  • BLS certification required.
  • ARRT-Nuclear or national NMTCB certification required.
  • Hazmat DOT certification/training per AZDHS BRC required.
  • NMIS hot lab experience preferred.
  • Experience with Siemens Ecams, Symbia, and/or Intevo SPECT/CT preferred.
