Adventist Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to lead our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) team. As a NICU Lead RN, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, supervising and directing nursing staff, and ensuring the highest level of patient safety and satisfaction.

Job Summary:

The NICU Lead RN will work collaboratively with the Nurse Manager, Director, Physicians, and staff to provide unit-based leadership and ensure that all patients receive cost-effective, professional care. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to assess and improve quality of patient experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide unit-based leadership and supervision to nursing staff
  • Ensure patient safety and satisfaction through effective communication and collaboration with the healthcare team
  • Assess and improve quality of patient experience through data collection and analysis
  • Manage staffing requirements and assign staff to patients and patient care activities
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives and recommend policy/procedure changes as needed
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in nursing or equivalent combination of education/related experience
  • Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
  • Minimum 5 years' technical experience, preferably in NICU
  • Supervisory experience or demonstrated supervisory skills
